Oyebanji Begins Statewide Grassroots Engagement Tour in Ekiti

The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, on Monday commenced a statewide grassroots engagement tour aimed at strengthening direct interaction with residents across the state.

The outreach, which kicks off in Ikole and Oye Local Government Areas, is expected to span all parts of Ekiti in a structured effort to deepen community-level participation and reinforce political engagement ahead of upcoming activities.

According to the campaign council, the governor will be accompanied by a select number of approved campaign team members who have been duly contacted, with participation strictly limited to designated individuals to ensure coordination and orderliness.

Party members, leaders, and stakeholders have been advised to remain within their respective local government areas and await the governor’s scheduled visits, a strategy designed to guarantee seamless organisation and maximise local turnout at each stop.

The campaign council emphasised that the phased approach would enhance effective engagement and allow residents in each locality to actively participate in the interactions with the governor.

Supporters across the state have also been urged to mobilise and turn out in large numbers to welcome the governor as the tour progresses through various councils.

Further details regarding subsequent locations and updates on the engagement schedule are expected to be communicated in the coming days.

The statement was signed by Taiwo Olatunbosun, Director of Media and Communications, Biodun Oyebanji Campaign Council.
