Ekiti residents defies transport unions sabotage troops out to welcome Kayode Ojo as political tension heats up

Residents of  Ekiti State have defied the alleged  efforts to sabotage the supporters of the APC gubernatorial hopeful,  Engineer Kayode Olubunmi Ojo, popularly known as EKO from moving from their different communities and local government areas by  operators of public transporters NURTW ans RTEAN respectively

The official declaration of Engineer Kayode Ojo a guber hopeful on the platform of the APC and the major challenger of governor oyebanji is set to storm the state after weeks of speculations.

 But in a twist of events, transport unions notably the NURTW, RTEAN and Napep Riders Association(TOAN)  shunned the roads as they were allegedly instructed by the state government and the leadership of the union to frustrate and prevent people from moving to the declaration venue.

A visit to the Kayode Ojo Campaign Organization office located in Ajilosun along Ikere Ekiti road in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State witnessed a heavy crowd of Kayode Ojo supporters  who defied all odds to be present at the event. 

The Incumbent Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji will slug it  out and with Engineer Kayode Ojo  for the  APC sole  ticket come October 27th, 2025 in the  primary elections
