Encomiums As Kayode Adamolekun Foundation Donates Multimillion Naira Project To ACGS Aisegba Ekiti .....as alumni holds 50th anniversary

It was all fun and reminiscent of sweet memories for the staffs and students of Aisegba Community Grammar School, Aisegba Ekiti when the Old students Association of the school held their 50th years Anniversary. The programme which took place in the school premises kicked off on Friday 30th September and will come to a close on 2nd of October 2022 witnessed the convergence of the pioneer students of the school of 1972, to 1995 Alumnus of the school. One of the old students Engineer Kayode Adamolekun was the cynosure of all eyes with his notable contributions to the growth of ACGS. Engineer Adamolekun in his charismatic manner and under his foundation " John Adamolekun Foundation single handedly provided a face lift to the school by renovating the school administrative block, the Principal's office and even changed the roofs of some of the classrooms. Not only that, in order to ensure students of Aisegba community Grammar school compete favourably with their counterparts in other world, Engineer Adamolekun provided a multi million ICT hub for the students with full set of about 100 computers, and other learning equipments that will encourage learning and exploration.
According to the National president of the Old students Association Prof. what Kayode Adamolekun has done is commendable and that he has been taking the school by surprise by embarking on developmental projects that even the government can't dream of. " As you can see, the students, staffs and even the body of the old students are very happy today for this wonderful project done by an alumni of this school. Through this wonderful initiative our students can now compete and do well in their chosen careers and we know this is the beginning of a new era in this school." He concluded by saying that others should emulate Adamolekun by giving back to the system that produced them. In the words of Engineer Adamolekun, the vision did not start today and was even more spurred to embark on the project when he discovered that the brightest of the students knew nothing about computer in this present age. " I was determined to make sure the young lads are well informed and trained in this computer age. They should all be computer literate, almost everything is now done with the aid of computers and even exams are now CBT based so the students will be well equipped and prepared if they are introduced to these things from here. We cannot leave everything in the hands of the government and I therefore use this opportunity to encourage and appeal others to do something of this nature" When asked about the financial aspect of the project, Engineer Kayode maintained that the project gulped over 10 million naira. He was also honoured and presented with an Historical edifice to acknowledge his contributions to the development of the school. Also awarded posthumously was the pioneer principal late Chief Olusola Bayode whose wife was present to commission some of the projects.
