Ojo Hails Fakanle’s Inauguration as FCC Commissioner, Describes Appointment as Well-Deserved
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Abraham Olugbenga Ojo, has congratulated Hon. Sola Fakanle on his inauguration as Commissioner of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), representing Ekiti State.
Hon. Fakanle was inaugurated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Barrister Ojo described the appointment as both timely and well-deserved, citing Fakanle’s proven competence, integrity, and longstanding commitment to public service.
Barrister Ojo, an indigene of Ilogbo-Ekiti, noted that Hon. Fakanle’s credentials in governance are well established, particularly his tenure as Chairman of Ekiti West Local Government, during which he demonstrated exemplary leadership and dedication to grassroots development.
He expressed confidence that the new FCC Commissioner would faithfully discharge his responsibilities by promoting fairness, equity, and balanced representation for Ekiti State in line with the constitutional mandate of the Federal Character Commission.
The APC chieftain also commended Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for his leadership and for positioning the state in alignment with the Federal Government’s inclusive and people-centered governance agenda.
Barrister Ojo concluded by wishing Hon. Fakanle a successful and impactful tenure, marked by institutional strengthening, meaningful reforms, and contributions to national unity and good governance, in furtherance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
