Race to Ekiti North Senate : I Won't Be Abuja Based Senator Says Chief Segun Ajibulu

In the build up to the Primary Election that will produce the Candidate that will contest the Senator representing Ekiti North  in the hallowed chambers come 2023, a chieftain and an aspirant under the all Progressives Congress Chief Segun Ajibulu has declared his interests to contest in the interest of the people of the constituency.

Chief Ajibulu in a statement made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti the Ekiti State Capital bemoaned the level of poverty and high rate of unemployment in the district.

According to Chief Yemi, the Senators representing the constituency at the hallowed chambers has relegated the people who voted them to the backyard as they made themselves unaccessible to the people they represent.

" You can see the discountenance on the faces of the people of Ekiti North Senatorial district. They have not been enjoying the benefits of proper representation except whenever there is an election and you see them coming to distribute Okada's, bags of rice and tokens as if the people are beggars. This ought not to be so Ekiti North deserves better and I am here to set the record straight.

The Senatorial hopeful maintained that he won't be Abuja based Senator instead of carrying the people along on human angle developmental projects.

" we won't be like some people who are always residing in Abuja and will only come home when elections are around the corner. Ekiti North deserves a leader who is selfless, accessible, kind resourceful and who will facilitate Federal presence in the constituency.

"What we are lacking in Ekiti North constituency today is a someone who has people oriented programs not one who enjoys the poverty the people are in and taking glory from the crumbs falling off his table.

According to Chief Segun the people of the constituency can vouch for humility and acceptability in all ramifications stressing that the Constituency stands to benefit more than enough should he emerges as their representative at the Hallowed Chambers come 2023.
