Open Ekiti To Tourism Investors Through Good Roads Oluyin Tells Oyebanji

The Oluyin of Iyin Ekiti, Oba Adeola Adeniyi Ajakaiye has called on the Governor of Ekiti state Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to open roads leading to Ekiti tourists sites.
Oba Ajakaiye made this call during the stakeholders engagement organized by Ambassador Wale-Ojo Lanre the Director general Ekiti state bureau of tourism development.
The tourism bureau in its bid to establish a strong, viable and dynamic tourism sector in the state to adopt sustainable strategies and actionable frameworks that is aimed at projecting Ekiti as a leading tourism figure in Nigeria played host to stakeholders, relevant authorities at the lady Jibowu hall in Ado Ekiti.
The traditional ruler in his reaction to the policy framework appealed to the state government to fix existing roads and open new ones so as to facilitate access to communities hosting the tourist sites.
" I am of the opinion that accessibility should be the priority if the framework will have the desired effects.
The roads needs urgent attention even before anything else because once the roads are in good condition it will be easy for tourists and visitors to access these tourists sites"
Oba Adeniyi maintained that roads are pivotal to any urbanisation project he concluded that traditional rulers will support the bureau tourism as it strives to maintain Ekiti state position as the leading tourist state.
The Director general of the Bureau, Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre during the interactive session said the tourism sector is determined to establish a partnership with communities through a policy that will foster economic growth in the state.
