...says Aiyedatiwa should sack cabals in government

The immediate past deputy speaker of Ondo state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ogundeji Iroju has said God has justified him and others victimised by the Akeredolu's led Government in the constitutional crisis rocking the state. Honorable Iroju who was the deputy speaker during the Akeredolu and Agboola Ajayi's administration said Akeredolu is fond of constituting constitutional error with the help of his cabals thereby denying the people of Ondo state good governance. Hon.Iroju who spoke with our correspondent said the current situation of the state is not leadership crisis but constitutional crisis. "What is happening in Ondo state is constitutional crisis and not leadership crisis. The 1999 constitution as amended was clear about the happenings in Ondo state and anywhere such situation occurs. People said he is incapacitated I can't confirm that but I can confirm he is sick, he should hand over power to his deputy." The former lawmaker maintained that for almost a year Ondo state is yet to get anything it can call governance in the state. He declared that Akeredolu, his wife , children and the so called cabals has deprived the people of Ondo state of good governance. "When I was the deputy speaker and I had issues with the Governor because I don't know how a Governor will have a deputy and he will say the deputy is not good and got another one and said that one is not good again that means the governor has to check himself." Honorable Iroju said if within two years Akeredolu wants to have 3 deputies then automatically something is wrong somewhere and that the ailing governor needs to check himself. "When he wanted to impeach Agboola Ajayi with trump up charges because I believe all the allegations leveled against Aiyedatiwa too are all trump charges." He disclosed that the allegations leveled against erthswhile deputy governor Agboola Ajayi and the incumbent acting governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa cannot be substantiated. What do they mean by gross misconduct? "During Agboola's matter I told them they are the ones that have a problem and I told them if they can't substantiate the claims then I for one cannot join them to impeach Agboola Ajayi and now the whole world can see why and that I am now justified by going against them in that impeachment." he concluded. On the new acting Governor that just got confirmed Hon. Iroju advised him to make policies that will favour the people considering the fact that Ondo citizens have been denied good governance for a long time now. " The Ondo state people are watching him to deliver good governance because the allegations of Omoyele Sowore that 7.4 billion was expended on security votes by Akeredolu cannot be substantiate though I heard of it. But not only 7.4 but there was another allegation of 4.3 billion that was said to be missing and nothing has been said on that so far on the missing money" On what the outcome of the Guber elections will likely be, the Rt. honorable Irojuy explained that the decision lies on the people. " I believe the electorate and the general public has seen the difference between the PDP and the APC now and I know that one will determine the choice of our people in the next election to come shortly." He hitherto advised Aiyedatiwa the acting Governor to remove the cabals nursing 2024 Gubernatorial ambition and still loitering around in government. " With the authority now, Lucky Aiyedatiwa can hire and fire and so I will advise he shows those cabals their way out of government"
