Fun Fair As Orphans And Elderly Celebrates Barrister Oluwatoyin Abegunde's Birthday At Mosadoluwa Orphanage Home ..... donates cash, Items worth 1 million .... children to take Bread, Tea,eggs for breakfast

Children of Mosadoluwa Orphanage Home Onala Ado Ekiti the Ekiti State Capital were on Friday 19th of July 2024 treated to an unforgettable experience when a Humanitarian and Children lover Barrister Abegunde Oluwatoyin celebrated her birthday at the Children's home. The event which kicked off at exactly 4:00 p.m started with songs of praise, special prayers and birthday messages from the Children to welcome the celebrant to their midst. Barrister Abegunde who also holds a chieftaincy title of "Yeye Akorede of Erijiyan Ekiti and also nicknamed "Iya Olomowewe " for her beautiful heart and kindness towards Children, the less privileged and the Elderly. Chief Oluwatoyin who stormed the Mosadoluwa Orphanage Home with friends, families, Associates and well wishers in her charismatic manner donated bags of rice, liquid soaps, cartons of spaghetti,Indomie, kegs of vegetable Oil,Bags of Salt and Beans. Other items include; Packs of Pampers,Moppers Cartons of Biscuits,Crates of Eggs, many packs of Beverages and 10 Big loaves of Bread worth over 1 million naira.
Barrister Abegunde while encouraging the children to see themselves as great and fortunate people revealed that the gesture is a divine one and that the gesture is inbuilt as she is a lover of children and the Elderly ones. She maintained that Children in these categories of life should not be neglected or made to bear the consequences of what the society brought upon them. " The children here are the product of what the society has become and we cannot shy away from our responsibilities even if the Government is not doing enough individuals should come out to empower these children because they are part of us." Just like i have done countless times on the occasions of my birthday, i will rather celebrate with them than in other places because being around children gives me unprecedented joy and as you can see i didn't come alone my friends, families, associates all accompanied me down here and they have supported me by speaking to the children even in career choosing and other things they might want to become in the future.
Chief Oluwatoyin also used the opportunity to thank the Board of Trustees Hand of Grace kitchen initiatives, Mrs Dolapo Aboaba, Adetule Foluke, Dr Omowumi Ayodele her friend of over 30 years, Mrs Tolulope Akinyemi a Banker and Olori Temitope Adeyanju of Isaba kingdom who accompanied her to the Orphanage home to celebrate her birthday with the children. In a very emotional laden voice, the founder of Mosadoluwa Orphanage home Mrs Moijsola Ogunleye was full of prayers for Barrister Abegunde Oluwatoyin for her kind gesture towards the home describing her as a beacon of hope to Motherless children and the Elderly. " This is not the first time she will be doing this for us, Infact the children have come to identify with her as their mother. You can see how the children welcomed her ecstatically and joy over their faces. Some of the children will go to her and ask her to carry them to show how close she has been to them but it is a known fact that she always turns up bigger every year with the items she always brings with her including the people that came with her i am totally overwhelmed." Mrs Ogunleye said the Orphanage home was established in 2004 as a result of divine calling and has since taken on over 70 children with only the help of people like Barrister Abegunde Oluwatoyin whom God has been using mightily to keep the home running. " As you can see we are still in shortage of many things especially mobility these children fall sick at times in the night and we have to trek long distances to the State Hospital and sometimes if we are lucky we can get Okada but not in most cases. We also need, bedspread, Mosquitoes nets, beds, money and foodstuffs we have not received any Government Internation except during the Covid 19 period" She concluded. After listening to the needs of the home, Dr. Omowumi Ayodele, Mrs Adetule Foluke,Mrs Tolulope Akinyemi and Olori Temitope Adeyanju all made promises to see to some of the needs of the home even as the children of Mosadoluwa Orphanage home will now take bread,Tea and Eggs for breakfast every Sunday courtesy of the aforementioned names. The Abegunde team also paid a visit to the Elderly section where cash gifts, fruits, Beverages and other items were also donated to the Elderly ones. Barrister Abegunde and her team interacted with the visibly happy aged ones and prayed for her to witness more years in good health. The event came to a close with the cutting of cake with the children and birthday songs rendered for the celebrant.
