Breaking: First Case of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Coronavirus is a deadly diseases that treatment has not been found yet since the broke out of the news in China. It has appeared in few African country but not as strong as we may think. Now the news broke up im Nigeria to report the first case in Lagos one of the major city in Nigeria.

The deadly coronavirus that has killed more than 2,814 people with 82,589 cases in six continents on Thursday, 27 February.

The chief press secretary of the Lagos State governor, Mr Gboyega Akosile, tweeted this a few minutes ago.

FIRST CASE OF CORONAVIRUS 

CONFIRMED IN LAGOS 

The Ministry of Health in Lagos State has confirmed its first case of COVID-19 and reported it to the Federal Ministry of Health. The case, which was confirmed on the 27th of February 2020, is the first case to be reported in Nigeria since the outbreak in China in January 2020.

The case is an Italian citizen who entered Nigeria on the 25th of Feburary from Milan, Italy for a brief business visit. He fell ill on the 26th February and was transferred to Lagos State Biosecurity Facilities for isolation and testing.
